Ambassador Supports Collaboration
Our Commercial Director – Alex Mortimer – represented the Institute of Director’s Essex Branch in Chelmsford event last night, in his role as the IoD Ambassador for Global Trade and Supply Chain.
The IoD event enabled its Essex ambassadors, including Alex and other new additions to the leadership team, to talk to existing IoD members and non-members about their businesses, and to discuss how they may be able to help support their growth.
Despite the uncertainty of Brexit, the mood in the room was mainly optimistic as we each shared how our businesses can support each other.
Alex spoke about how business leaders and directors could work together and use collaboration as a means to improve. They could lean on organisations like the IoD and Supply Chain Academy, who are both well set up to support.
One of the cornerstones of the Supply Chain Academy is collaborative learning, where executives come together and share and compare business issues and ideas to create best practice solutions. We provide unique insight into supply chain innovation and the necessary skill sets to manage the supply chains of now and the future. 2019 certainly looks like a great time to invest in your supply chain capabilities.
The Supply Chain Academy and CP Training, have worked together with the IOD on a number of previous events, as we continue to deliver outstanding supply chain capabilities to business through executive masterclasses, bespoke training, thought leadership events, career pathway and the new degree apprenticeship.
