The Supply Chain Academy recently held a successful ‘Personal Effectiveness’ workshop for niche supply chain and logistics company, MacAndrews & Company Limited, who are part of CMA CGM which is the third largest shipping container transport company in the world.

MacAndrews’ Chief Operating Officer, Mark Copsey, identified the need to improve communication internally and externally with suppliers and customers; in alignment with the company’s core purpose, mission and values. Copsey had previously participated in the ‘Leading Complex Change in the Supply Chain’ Director programme at the Academy, and was impressed with the programme’s focus on the practical application of knowledge and wanted a similar approach to meet his team’s specific needs.

The Personal Effectiveness workshop used the Insights® Discovery personality profiling model; a practical psychometric tool that helps individuals understand themselves, understand others and make the most of the relationships that affect them in the workplace and in their teams.
